Mechanical Engineers
We are looking for Diploma Mechanical Engineers from Mumbai or Maharashtra colleges. All candidates must have 60% marks throughout their academics. Kindly do not apply if you dont fit the 60% criteria. The selected students would be working in Dahanu Power Plant.
This position is only for the Diploma Holders. Degree Holders kindly excuse.
Job Description :
• Plan for Execution of all maintenance activities assigned and maintain various parameters during the Operation in respective area.
• To identify required resources for carrying out the Job - viz manpower, tools, tackles & material.
• To monitor the condition of utilities & services to avoid major breakdowns.
• To ensure that the work is carried out as per the plan and Standard Operating Guide.
• To ensure timely maintenance is taken up for proper upkeep of all machines and equipments in respective areas and close the permits.
• To record the Test results/ work details/ resource consumption in the Maintenance Database.
• To ensure that all safety norms are followed during the execution of the job.
• To direct / guide the Maintenance Technicians in Maintenance: Routine, abnormal, emergency & review local logs.
• To functionally report to the Dy. Head - Mech Maintenance also for analysing the Shift activities , ensuring the availability of adequate resources.
Desired Skills :
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Responsible for Preventive and scheduled maintenance of plant and equipments at construction sites.
• Willing to re-locate to Dahanu.
Required Skill Set :
• Functional Knowledge.
• Legislative & Safety requirements.
• Mental Alertness.
• Leadership/Team Building Abilities.
• Vizualization of Situation (location & process).
• Abilty to listen & respond.
Note : Candidates who have passed out in 2010 and those passing out in the year 2011 June can also apply for this Job.
